Our Policy
Campus Swap is a student-to-student consignment marketplace. All items are pre-owned and priced to reflect that. Because of the nature of secondhand goods, all sales are generally final — but we want to be fair, and our policy reflects that.
Changed Your Mind? We Get It.
If you'd like to cancel your order before your delivery day, just email us at team@usecampusswap.com and we'll take care of it. We'll issue a full refund, no questions asked, as long as your delivery hasn't already gone out.
After Delivery
Once an item has been delivered, we don't offer refunds except in the following circumstances:
- The item arrives damaged or broken in a way that was not visible or disclosed in the listing, or
- The item you received is materially different from what was shown in the seller's original listing photo.
To be clear: refund eligibility is based on the original photo submitted by the seller — not the AI-enhanced version shown as the cover image. We enhance photos for presentation, but the seller's actual photo is the record of what was listed.
What qualifies:
- Furniture arrives with structural damage not visible in the listing photo
- An appliance is non-functional and was listed as working
- The item delivered is not the item that was purchased
What doesn't qualify:
- Normal wear and tear on a used item
- Slight color or texture differences due to photo lighting
- Change of mind after delivery
- Dissatisfaction with size (we're always happy to answer sizing questions before you buy — just email us)
How to Request a Refund
Email team@usecampusswap.com within 48 hours of delivery. Please include:
- Your order confirmation email
- Photos clearly showing the issue
- A brief description of how the item differs from the listing
We'll review and get back to you within 2 business days. All post-delivery refund decisions are at the sole discretion of Campus Swap.
